About the Speakers Whitney Crahen is a school fire safety expert with over 25 years of experience specializing in consulting and training services for educational institutions and governmental agencies. She was the 2nd woman in Texas to receive NICET certification in Fire Alarm systems and become an Alarm Planning Superintendent. Henry L. Homrighaus, Jr. is a security industry veteran with a wealth of experience derived from military, law enforcement and security industry involvement and is the author of "A Primer on Electronic Security for Schools, Universities Institutions." Following a successful career in law enforcement and as a Chief of Police in Texas, Jim Burkey specializes in security system integration design and implementation and is a certified CEU Instructor. George Navarro has over 29 years experience in school security with his current position being Police Chief of Bridge City Independent School District.
